LEBANON, TN – May 4, 2009 – The Metropolitan collection, the next generation of Hartmann luggage design, is styled for both men and women in a sophisticated, lightweight, high performance product. With light and durable black glazed twill fabrication, quality black Napa leather trim and signature shiny nickel zipper accents, it is the newest and most innovative luggage design for today’s lifestyle.
The new black, a sophisticated option for an urban look in luggage. The Mobile Traveler® Spinners and new designs in Backpack, Messenger Bag, and Vertical Satchel, address today’s traveler’s needs for carry-on luggage. A highlight of the Metropolitan Collection is the 22” Duffel with Pouch, which includes a foldable large duffel that fits inside a matching pouch with snap closure – great for travel and coming home with more than you left with. When not in use, the duffel can be easily folded into the pouch for compact storage. The Metropolitan collection also features Global Recovery System (GRS™), a 12-character individual ID and barcode tag that is permanently attached inside your Hartmann bag. If your bag is ever lost and reported found, Hartmann will notify you, arrange a pickup, and deliver your bag to you. The collection is in stores this summer, suggested retail prices start at $195.
