My husband and I landed in NYC on Thursday at 4:07 just as the blackout descended on the city. After a taxi ride of an hour and 45 minutes, our driver let us out in Queens --- with our luggage… We walked from Queens to Soho, pulling our Hartmann luggage behind us the entire way. We saw, and passed, other people with luggage that either had no wheels, or weighted wrong, making us very grateful for our wise investment some 10 years ago in our Hartmann luggage… We could not have done that, nor would we have even attempted it, if we had not had such confidence in the maneuverability of our luggage…

… I wanted something distinctive, but didn’t look like all the rest… I purchased the Walnut Tweed and bought the full leather bag to mix and match since the trim on the Tweed matched the leather line. What a great idea, to be able to coordinate the two lines… and I think it looks good, but looks even better when I’m pulling it through the airport.
